Bruce began his career in 1982 with Nuttall Yarwood & Partners based in Barnsley, then spent five years with Doncaster MBC. He subsequently worked at West Lindsey District Council on heritage and residential projects before joining Rotherham Building Control Consultancy in 2005.
With over 20 years in construction and building surveying, Bruce has extensive experience over a wide range of sectors including residential, leisure, commercial and modular. He specialises in the delivery of large scale developments.
Some of Rotherham Building Control Consultancy’s most prestigious projects fall within Bruce's portfolio, most recently completing the acclaimed Westgate Demonstrator Project 3, the four new leisure & sports centres including the iconic St Ann’s facility in Rotherham Town Centre.
An enthusiast for consistent high standards of project delivery, Bruce has played a leading role in the establishment of online systems and delivery protocols in our Rotherham based office.
As well as being a keen fitness enthusiast, Bruce’s interests include amateur photography & SCUBA diving. Bruce lives in Doncaster with his wife & two children, cat ‘Maggy’ & dog ‘Amy’.
